After 18 months of writing articles countering the crappy science behind doomsday theories , I really did think that although their research was pseudo-scientific, scaremongering bunkum full of misinformation and misunderstandings, the people behind the theories must have some semblance of normality. These individuals have been out of circulation for quite some time. Also, they have no idea how to communicate their beliefs without sounding, and looking, insane. They bring on professionals who really know what they are talking about and make fun of the individuals who for some reason think they are going to get a fair hearing. I had a great time filming the interview last year and I feel honored to be in a show alongside two skeptical-comedy greats.

And there's a debate raging whether alcoholism is even a disease! The quasi-religious step groups have America brainwashed into believing that a higher power will take care of everything. Whatever happened to personal responsibility?! In the Season 8 finale, vaccination is considered modern medicine's greatest weapon against disease but thanks to pseudo-science and public gullibility, the debate over vaccination safety rages on.
The show ran for eight seasons starting in and ending in Covered topics of interest to skeptics and rationalists included religions , cults , New Age , alternative medicine , conspiracy theories , the anti-vaccination movement , and so on. Unfortunately a number of episodes are bullshit themselves and veer off into pseudoscepticism and denialism , making the show as a whole a bit of a paradoxical combination of stopped clock and inverse stopped clock. We keep articles on most, if not all, topics they cover. Many of the episodes are educational, and if nothing else humorous to watch if you have about a half an hour to kill, and several of the episodes have grown to become classics within the sceptical community. It is like a more profane, less broad version of Adam Ruins Everything.
