I was hungry and around the area and decided to stop in for a bite at this cute little place. Our server Sarah was great and had many dishes to recommend! I got the fish n chips! We had boom boom shrimp, 2 pork sliders with a few fries and 2 dozen wings. Get the We like to go here to take our dog and enjoy a good lunch.
We go out for lunch almost every Saturday. We had seen some reviews on FINS and thought we would give it a try. We arrived around on Saturday. The restaurant wasn't crowded and since we have two special needs kids, we chose the inside dining room since the tables are normal height. There were only a couple of other tables occupied when we arrived.

Large shrimp dipped in a light beer batter and fried to a crispy golden brown, served over fries with cocktail sauce. New York style cheesecake, swirled with caramel dusted with sea salt and drizzled with caramel sauce. Gluten free. House made puff pastry stuffed with shredded Caribbean style Beef then fried golden brown. Served with a fresh salsa verde dipping sauce.

The appetizers — a dry take on ahi-tuna nachos, and a lackluster, slightly mushy bowl of peel-and-eat shrimp — had sent our table into an awkward silence. I ogled it, photographed it as good 21st century food critics do , then dove in thinking I may never resurface. The owners are from Maryland — hence said crab cake, and, another day, my thick burger charred to medium perfection on a lightly toasted brioche bun I thought it tasted familiar. For every great burger I had there was a sad flatbread, its crust doughy and not-quite crisp. Or a beige plate of seafood enchiladas that looked like some kind of Red Lobster-Taco Bell mashup but that tasted far better than it looked, to be fair. Your hope fades again, but is renewed by a bracing ceviche brimming with seafood in a limey, pale yellow marinade. FINS knows its way around a cocktail, as well.

Sub lettuce wraps for the "lighter side" Served with a side of rice and beans. Puff pastry stuffed with seasoned ground beef, then fried golden brown and served with salsa verde dipping sauce. A "boatload" of homemade dip topped with a dollop of guacamole and pico de gallo and served with our house made corn chips. Fresh Tuna with black and white toasted sesame seeds seared mid-rare sliced thin. Served on top of wakame salad and crispy won tons, topped with fresh watermelon radish and drizzled with cucumber wasabi dressing. Served with our house made corn chips.
