This September, Robbie Wojciechowski will be starting at Goldmsiths University as an undergraduate, despite having no A-level qualifications. Sound unlikely? Well it's not as uncommon as you'd think. Universities are changing the way they think about candidates with alternative qualifications. Not only are they beginning to accept applications from them, they're offering courses specifically tailored towards non-traditional students. In the complete absence of A-levels or equivalent qualifications, some universities are even prepared to accept life and work experience as an alternative to formal education.
